There are more reindeer than people living in Pudasjärvi, a small town in northern Finland. With the local population drastically shrinking, the town council has set the exceptional goal that in 2018, one of ten residents would be an immigrant. This ongoing series focuses on Congolese families who have resettled in Finland to start a new life after more than fifteen years of living in refugee camps. At the same time it looks at the transition of the surrounding community, struggling to redefine its identity.
